Online-only Samsung Mini Pay is reportedly planned for a South Korea launch in June

A new report claims that Samsung Mini Pay, an online-only version of Samsung's payment system, will launch in June in South Korea.

Korea-based ETNews claims that Samsung Mini Pay will work on both Android and iPhone. The report says that Samsung wants to see more online payments through this new method, as the current Samsung Pay is mostly used for offline transactions. It adds:

If Samsung Pay Mini is installed, online payments are executed automatically and it can be used by both mobile devices and PCs. After installing an application, a consumer can download many cards into this application after fingerprint certification or making an ID and a password. A consumer can just register his or her cards through this application, and this application will operate automatically when there are online payments.

There's no word if Samsung Mini Pay will expand to other countries beyond South Korea.
