We, for one, welcome our VRHeads overlords

VRHeads is your new home for virtual reality's past, present and future.

The future of reality is virtual. Virtual reality, that is. It's really, really virtual. But also really real.

The point is, VR isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Yes, it's nerdy. Yes, it's goofy. Yes, you need to come up for air every now and then and remember that there is, in fact, an actual world still going on out here.

But it very much is the future. And the future has a new home — VRHeads.

The folks at VRHeads have a single mission — invite everyone to a conversation about VR. To accomplish that, all forms of VR are on the table. There's a place for folks who only use their phones for short bursts of VR goodness right next to the folks talking about more complex, PC-powered setups that take up a whole room. VR is being positioned for home user adoption in a way that has never been done before, and participating in the growth of that ecosystem is what this site is all about.

Here's how you can participate:

  • Join the forums! — The VRHeads team is hard at work building a community of folks who are talking about anything and everything VR. You can head over there now and participate, and if you have an existing Mobile Nations Passport account you can click here to be instantly registered there. If you've never created an account, what are you waiting for? Get in there!
  • Check out the starter guides — VRHeads exists to offer something for everyone, and that includes folks that have no idea which VR headset is for them. The Everything you need to know series on the homepage will help get you going!
  • Follow VRHeads on social — There's a lot happening over at VRHeads, and some of it is only going to be happening on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Be sure to give those a follow if you want to catch everything.
  • Join VRHeads in Altspace — There's going to be a special VRHeads launch event in VR this Friday! Check out the details here, and we'll see you all in Altspace.
