Black Friday and Cyber Monday are generally not the best time to buy a new TV for yourself, but as with any rule, there are exceptions. On Black Friday we saw some pretty good TV deals floating around, and Cyber Monday is no different. Here are the models that you'll want to consider buying.
A streamers delight
Toshiba 50-inch 4K Fire TV
Earlier this year, Best Buy and Amazon partnered together to bring a Toshiba Fire TV to market, and it's been selling well since. We've only seen a few discounts on this model, and this price is just over $100 lower than it normally sells for. It has Hulu, Netflix, YouTube, and much more built right in for quick and easy access.
Bigger is better
TCL 65-inch 6 Series 4K TV
TCL has really made a name for itself in the past two years with its Roku TVs, and the 6 Series is no exception. It's receive rave reviews since being released, and offers quick and easy access to all of Roku's best features without the need for any other hardware. It normally sells for around $170 more, and rarely drops in price.
Immersive Experience
Sony 65-inch 4K Ultra HD LED TV
At almost $400 off, this is one of the larger discounts we're seeing on any TV model during Cyber Monday promotions. It has four HDMI ports, three USB ports, and is even compatible with both Amazon's Alexa and Google's Assistant, allowing you to control it using just your voice.
The Q for U
Samsung 65-inch 4K QLED Smart TV
There's a whole lot of TV lingo going on here, but the short of it is that this is one of Samsung's more advanced models. It offers a 60Hz refresh rate, comes with a Bixby voice remote, and the TV is even a SmartThings Hub so you can connect other smart home gear to it. This price is nearly $900 off its regular going rate.
What do you ThinQ
LG 43-inch 4K Smart TV
Not everyone is looking for a huge TV, and that's where LG's 43-inch 4K TV really shines. It's not too small, and it still offers a bunch of premium features like three HDMI ports, two USB ports, and LG's Artificial Intelligence to help you connect your smart home gear, control it with your voice, and more. You're saving about $40 here, but this is the best price we've ever seen on this model.
A few less pixels
TCL 40-inch 1080P Roku TV
If 4K isn't the most important thing for you in a TV, this 40-inch TCL Roku TV is the one to get. It's the most current generation from TCL and offers three HDMI ports, two of which have HDCP 2.2, one USB port, and runs Roku's powerful streaming interface. It's only been available for about a month, and normally sells for closer to $280.
If you're really looking for the absolute best TV deals, you may want to hold out until closer to the NFL Super Bowl, though it's never guaranteed that every model will be discounted then. With Black Friday and its specific models in the past, buying a discounted TV is a bit safer from here on out.
