NVIDIA's highly-rated Shield TV Gaming Edition drops to just $160

Stream your favorite shows and play your favorite games all with one device.

Amazon currently has the NVIDIA Shield TV Gaming Edition on sale for just $159.99, a savings of $40. This discount matches a previous low that we've only seen twice in the past, both times during a Black Friday event. This bundle comes with the 4K Shield TV, its remote, and a gaming controller. You can get it for the same price at Best Buy.

NVIDIA's Shield TV is improved over previous iterations. Heck, this one gives you access to Amazon Prime Video, which is a step-up by itself. Sure, the Shield is more expensive than a Roku but the Shield is a gaming console, too, and a decent one at that. The gaming controller makes a nice addition, allowing you to take full advantage of everything the hardware is capable of.

We took a look at whether or not the Shield TV is worth it in 2018, and concluded that it indeed is by saying:

The NVIDIA Shield TV is still the best Android TV box you can buy in 2018. NVIDIA has done a great job offering software updates that continually make the Shield TV better than before, and the 16GB is a great option for any habitual streamer. So yes, it's absolutely your best bet for an Android TV box in 2018.

Odds are this deal won't stick around for too long, so be sure to grab one now, before the price drop disappears.
